Twins!

I’m sure these two (and mom and dad) were thankful we were all able to reschedule this session which was originally scheduled for Sunday (when it was snowing!).  They were still a bit chilly but after a bit of running around, it was all good and they were all cute.

She’s Here

Introducing my little niece, Baby A.  She’s just four days old and after the heat was hot enough for my little nephew to declare “It’s roasting in here”, a few feedings and plenty of patience, she slept.

No, She Couldn’t

…be any cuter.   Little Miss E’s mom very generously bid on my photo package that supported a local charity and our schedules finally worked out to squeeze Miss E in (you know those preschooler’s schedules!)

A Couple Cuties

What a perfect weekend for sessions!  Here are Miss P and her sister Miss P.

This littlest one was a tough one to crack a smile!

This little one loved to smile but I had to be quick to catch her in one of her ‘quiet’ moments!

Love the leaves…so did she!

The Two Fabulous Miss R’s

These two sisters came to their session all prepped with plenty of ideas of their own after having just watched America’s Top Model which is always very helpful!  So here is their public “Top Model” debut that I promised them so they could show all their friends!

Laugh out Loud

After a session, I download my photos to my computer, burn a DVD so I don’t accidentally delete them and then take a closer peek than I did while driving home (I know, I’m trying to quit that!).  Good thing I’m usually doing all of this late at night because my stepdaughters would probably think I’m a huge dork or a little crazy, sitting on the couch, smiling and laughing while I go through the photos.  And looking over this session, I did laugh out loud.  There was a ton of personality between these two!  And thanks to mom who let me reschedule after I thoughtlessly booked the session the night before my husband left overseas for two months.  I really appreciate it!

I ‘extra huge puffy heart’ this photo below.  I love a lot of photos I take, not because I took them, but because the kids I get to photograph are so amazing and this one of the latest that takes my breath away.  I love her slight smile, her sparkly eyes and the way that one little piece of hair falls across her cheek.

And this one makes me laugh out loud.

SW Cutie

I know there is a new law in Minnesota that prohibits using a cell phone/blackberry/iPhone to send emails or text messages while driving, even when at a stoplight.  But I wonder if there is a law against checking the LCD screen on the back of my camera while driving home after a session like this!  I visited little Miss L and her parents at her house and then we took a little trip down to the creek for a few more photos.  Simple and perfect!

The weather has been so perfect for sessions lately.  Cool but bright days and there are so many areas where the leaves are just beginning to change.  My cutoff for fall sessions for those who would like cards and specialty items in time for the holidays is November 9th!  I’m keeping my fingers cross that the weather will hold out like last year and we have beautiful weather up until then!

Saturday Session Open!

I have a last minute opening for this Saturday.  Session fee is $50 (reg. $100) for 1-3 children.  Session fee due at the time of booking.  And it’s supposed to be sunny and beautiful this weekend!  Email me at lauri@lauristumphphotography.com!

While I’m here, I thought I would finally post a couple photos of my sister.  We got these done just in time since she’s on bedrest now until my little neice or nephew decides to make an appearance, hopefully soon!!  I’m sure she’s ready so she can be comfortable again and I’m ready because I want to take photos of the new little one!  And if you don’t want to miss when I post my new little neice or nephew, make sure and subscribe to my blog!
