A collective ‘awwww’ is in order.

Super cute family and super awesome evening! Another family who scooped up a photo session by kindly donating to a local charity, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation!

This family was awesome, not only during their session but the Tufte family were the ones who nominated my Giving Is Awesome family last Christmas.
When mom said they weren’t really looking for traditional family photos, I did secret cartwheels of joy in my head. And then in to my camera popped this image… A little extra funky color and some sassy texture and *sigh*, I love it.

Miss Madison seems to be modest but her dad told me all about her interest in photography. So I looked up her photo that was published in the the Star Tribune..awesome! Click here to check it out: Awesome Photograph If I took a photo like that, it would be 24×30 on canvas, on the wall. It is right?

Miss Chelsea is heading way out of town for college. I’m glad we were able to get these family photos before she headed out. Good luck with college!

Thanks Tufte family for taking the time to send in the nomination for Giving Is Awesome, driving to the other side of the cities for your session and having fun with it!

…of having a photographer in the family if we never get photos”, is what I always hear. So here are some of those ‘photos we never get’. (admittedly a month late…)

It was an absolutely beautiful weekend for a session! And judging from the smile, Miss C thought so too.

Mom and Dad wanted ‘maybe one’ photo of all of them. Well, lucky for them little Miss C wanted them in more. I love the together photos I managed to capture.

Probably one of my most favorite..ever. Even though it’s from further away, I love.love.love the emotion of it.

Awesome group of kids + parent chauffer to and from prom + supervised afterparty = good night of sleep for me. Plus, they let me take photos..
