Whew, that was a long winter. I survived under multiple sweatshirts and fuzzy blankets all while wondering why I live in Minnesota! But of course, spring, summer and fall are the reasons.
So back to my poor, neglected blog. I’ll start with the most recent and go from there while hoping the warm weather will inspire me to get back to taking more personal photos.
Jase had a trip to DC this past week, conveniently during the National Cherry Blossom Festival. I tagged along to visit a few museums and monuments. Unfortunately, I came away thinking the festival was overrated (not to mention, it was colder there than here at home!) but luckily, I’m a museum junkie and could still go back there ten more times and not see everything I want to! So certainly not a trip wasted by any means.
Here are just a few photos to share of my trip and I hope everyone enjoys the weekend!
A quiet fountain at the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden

Loved the contrast created by the light on this tree sculpture at the National Gallery of Art

Ah, a couple at The Capitol.

The Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Looks so peaceful but was packed with people.
