Super Tuesday

Ok, so it didn’t start out so super.  I was totally late for the session after I decided to take a ’short cut’ around the horrible traffic on 35E.  Minnesota has the problem of no short cuts are really short cuts because somewhere along the way, you run into a lake and then have to drive all the way around, usually (in my case) in the opposite direction!  So, my longing for a Wacom has to quit and I should probably invest in a GPS instead.  Still super sorry mom, which is why you get your sneak peek tonight!  Thanks for understanding!

OMG Cutie!  (as my teenage stepdaughters would say)  If he’s only in Kindergarten, you’ve got girl problems on your hands mom!

Miss L told me she wanted to start with a break!

But then we were okay to go!

And one more of Mr. Sparkley Eyes!

West Side Senior

I’m a day late posting Miss C’s sneak peek but here they are!  She had a two part senior session since about an hour into her first session, it started to rain.  A few sprinkles here and there were fine and then mom noticed the lightning moving in.  So we finished up her session this week, in a very cool location.  I hope you (and mom) like them!

I just love this photo.  We’re in her backyard, she’s relaxed and oh look, there’s a canoe in the background.  Ok, well maybe not everyone would have noticed that but that’s the first thing I noticed and I love it.

Miss C’s super secret location suggestion.  I’d be surprised if I could even find it again…

Finally!

This is my niece.  She’s a tough one and she just turned three.  There were bribes going out left and right and after her mini session, I could have kicked myself for forgetting the “biggest lollypop ever” bribe.  Oh well, at least I’ll have that one for next time because I think we did okay in the end!

She’s good at playing the ‘avert just the eyes’ or ‘cover the mouth’ game…

She is trying to hard not to smile!

Thank goodness, finally!

Artsy Senior

This girl has it together.  Cool ideas, great wardrobe and even though senior year has just started, she’s already been accepted to a great art school here next year!  It took me forever to go through and narrow down her photos after her session and then I had to narrow it down again for her sneak peek!  Thanks ‘L’ and mom for all your great ideas.  I think you’ll love the photos.

I LOVE the polka dots on her sweatshirt and the circles above her on the boards to tie it all together…in a framey sort of way.

Credit for this location goes to mom who spied it from above while L and I were busy taking photos.

Sneak Peek of Sneak

I snuck these photos of my niece and nephew while my sister was changing clothes for her belly photos.  Since I’m under strict orders not to post anything of her belly without her seeing them first, I’ll post these instead!   I usually can’t get anything but crazy faces from them anyways so I’ll just go with what they give me!

Stylin’ Sisters

I know mom has patiently been waiting for these all day so here they are!  Last night was a perfect evening for photos.  An extra thanks to Miss A who was very patient waiting for her turn while I chased her sister around for a while!  And keep your eye out for Miss A’s commercial appearance during the Packers/Vikings game on Monday too (look for the Kemps cow)!

What sisterly love…

State Fair!

We squeezed our State Fair visit in at the last minute this year.  Everyone’s schedule got really busy just as the fair started; soccer, ultimate frisbee, work, school shopping but I knew Jase couldn’t pass up his annual chance for Macaroni on a stick.  Okay, he probably would have passed it up, but I couldn’t.   Warning:  Photo overload!  It was nice to take my portrait lens off my camera and leave it at home for the first time in quite a while!

There are no more normal, smiley photos of the girls anymore.  Whenever I want a photo of them it’s “Take a good one so I can use it on facebook”.  This is their ‘good one’ for facebook.

Beat the Heat

Thanks to little M and S who spent some time with me last weekend in the heat.  Believe me, they didn’t show a sign of being hot or tired!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Almost 2

First of all,  can you believe two posts in one day and both are before midnight?

Second of all, maybe it’s because I’m getting older but two year olds seem to be getting quicker and quicker.  Here’s a sneak peek from little Miss C’s session.  I hope you guys have a great vacation!

Early Morning Senior

I can tell that school is about to start because the seniors are crawling out of the woodwork lately to get their session in.   Here’s your sneak peek Miss R!  I love going downtown for senior photos because there is so much variety in such a small area!  That was especially helpful this morning when we were trying to beat the heat.
