Sneakpeek | Loveshoot

Ah what a few years will do to a guy.  When I first met Dave (back in my corporate days) I remember him saying that it was a secret he and Liza were dating, don’t talk about it.  Then the other day, after I forget to have the model release signed, I asked to make sure I could post the photos and he says “Sure.  Then the rest of the world can see how lucky I really am.”

Yeah Dave, you are lucky.  (PS - Was I supposed to type that part?)  :-)

Project 365 - 28-29

Just when I thought I was catching up…

I guess I’m on the old school kick right now.  That and iPhone photos just need a little extra something before they are posted.  So they got the polaroid treatment for a little more character than Apple was able to provide.  I’m sure there’s an application that will do this on my phone for me but it’s taken me since Christmas to figure out how to get the photos off of my phone in the first place so I’ll stick with Photoshop for now.

Photo 28 -  Just driving around the city.

Photo 29 - I was making dinner one night and I looked up and the sky had turned orange.  Being in the city doesn’t always allow for the best sunset views with wires, houses and leafy trees blocking the view but on the occasions that the sun and clouds decide to play nice together, it’s pretty cool even through the clutter.

Project 365 - Day 6 & 7

Day 6 - 1/8/2009

You could say Jase and I have a drinking problem.  A coffee drinking problem.  This little espresso machine was Jase’s birthday present and our attempt to cut back on getting coffee’s out.  To be honest, it works!  I think I’ve had about 5 coffee’s out since we got it in September.  I *super heart* it.  (I used a macro lens for this photo that I had rented for a newborn session.  Macros are fun to play with!)

(by request, the techie stuff:  105mm macro  f3.3  1/25th  ISO1600)

Day 7 - 1/9/2009

My poinsettia before the leaves started falling off  :-(  I have no green thumb.
