Perfect night.  Perfect light.  And of course, a perfect model!  I know, senior portraits can sometimes be nerve-wracking; it’s a once in a life time thing just like a wedding but with the nerves that supposedly accompanied Miss E, I can’t see it at all in her photos!  Thanks for driving downtown to meet up.  I can’t wait to show you the rest of your photos!

For some reason, my mini sessions always seem to be more like ‘extended mini’s’.  But what can I say, fun location, fun young lady (+friend & mom) = running long!  (How’s that for some word algebra for this last day before school starts?)

Thanks to “J” along with his brother and dad who made the trip back to the old  ‘hood’ for his senior photos.   I,  of course, love my neighborhood (which used to be their neighborhood long ago) and think it’s cool when families or seniors choose a location for their session that holds meaning for them!

That’s about all I can say about this senior;  wow, those eyes!  I couldn’t bring myself to convert any of these to black and white.  Thanks Miss E for crawling out of bed so early for photos, well early for a soon-to-be senior on summer vacation.    I couldn’t have asked for better light!

She wasn’t so sure about the ’serious face’  but I just love this one I got before she started smiling again…

Awesome group of kids +  parent chauffer to and from prom + supervised afterparty = good night of sleep for me.  Plus, they let me take photos..
